WE GOT A CONSTRUCTION LOAN COMMITMENT!!

We are one step closer to breaking ground!! We have been able to secure a fifty (50) year land lease on five acres of land in Chesapeake in the Great Bridge district. In addition, we have just signed a construction to permanent loan commitment with Old Point National Bank to construct The Elder’s House! Praise God!! God has truly touched the hearts of men and women like you to bless the Elder’s House vision to finally be nearing the apex of years of hard work and faith.

We now have the land and we have the bank commitment. The next step is to secure a Use Permit to build The Elder’s House on the land. Our architects, Retnauer Baynes, are busy working on the drawings needed to submit to the City for approval. As many of you know, we will then have to secure approval from City Council for a Use Permit to operate The Elder’s House. We will have to also meet with our potential neighbors to show them our designs and address any concerns and questions they may have. Please be in prayer that God continues to soften the hearts of all needed to make the Elder’s House continue to move forward quickly.

We would love to be breaking ground in early Spring. Thank you again for your benevolence, patience, and prayers. Please continue to remember The Elder’s House with your generous donations as we move forward with expenses associated with designs, drawings, permits, and licensing.
